Respecto a los resultados obtenidos mediante la herramienta FRAX®, es sabido que el FRAX® español infraestima en un 50% las fracturas mayores [13].	In respect of the results obtained using the FRAX® tool, it is known that the Spanish version of FRAX® underestimates by 50% the number of major fractures [13].
Se debe advertir que en este estudio la escala infraestima la mortalidad, al relacionar la mortalidad esperada con la observada, esto pudiera depender de los resultados de cada grupo quirúrgico.	We should warn that in this study, the score underestimates mortality, when relating the expected mortality to the actual one, and this may depend on the results of each surgical group.
Sin embargo, la versión actual del instrumento FRAX® infraestima la incidencia del resto de fracturas osteoporóticas, independientemente de la puntuación T, el número de factores de riesgo y el tiempo de seguimiento.
