Quien incurriere en esas acciones, deberá responder ante los tribunales de justicia y hacer frente al peso de la ley.	Anyone who commits such offences must answer for their actions in court and will be met with the full force of the law.
Quien por acción u omisión incurriere en la conducta descrita en el párrafo anterior, será sancionado con prisión de uno a tres años y multa de quinientos a tres mil quetzales.	The individual who by action or omission does not comply with the conduct described in the above paragraph, will be punished with prison from one to three years and a fine of three thousand quetzals.
El que incurriere en esta conducta será sancionado con multa de uno a cinco ingresos mínimos mensuales.	Those who behave so will be sanctioned with a fine ranging from one to five monthly salaries.
El eclesiástico que incurriere en pecado carnal, ya sea con monjas, ya con primas, sobrinas o ahijadas suyas, ya, en fin, con otra mujer cualquiera, será absuelto, mediante el pago de 67 libras, 12 sueldos.	The ecclesiastic who incurs carnal sin, whether with nuns, or with his cousins, nieces or daughters (sic!), and, in a word, with any woman whatsoever, shall be absolved by the payment of 67 pounds and 12 shillings.
El cónyuge no declarado culpable conservará su derecho alimentario respecto del otro, pero este derecho se extinguirá si contrae nuevo matrimonio, si vive en concubinato o incurriere en injurias graves contra el otro cónyuge.
