Once member States have accepted responsibility or led a non-member State to rely on their responsibility, it seems fair that member States should face the consequences of their own conduct.
La Comisión notificará al Estado miembro de que se trate las razones que le hayan inducido a pensar que se ha cometido una infracción grave y solicitará que esta sea corregida por los medios adecuados.	The Commission shall notify the Member State concerned of the reasons which have led it to conclude that a serious infringement has been committed and request its correction by appropriate means.
En tal caso, y siempre que sea factible, las autoridades expondrán al exportador los motivos que las hayan inducido a considerar inadecuada la aceptación de un compromiso y, en la medida de lo posible, darán al exportador la oportunidad de formular observaciones al respecto.	Should the case arise and where practicable, the authorities shall provide to the exporter the reasons which have led them to consider acceptance of an undertaking as inappropriate, and shall, to the extent possible, give the exporter an opportunity to make comments thereon.
