Para el mes de mayo ha sido seleccionada la ciudad de Posadas, Argentina, la cual dio origen por primera vez a una política de Reducción de Riesgos por Desastres a partir de Junio de 2010 con la creación de la Oficina de Prevención ante Desastres Naturales OPAD.
