Por último, señor Presidente, distinguidos representantes permanentes, señor Secretario General, señoras y señores, como Secretario General Adjunto de esta importante institución hemisférica, me empeñaré en robustecer la Organización, mejorar sus funciones institucionales y políticas y promover una mayor eficiencia y relevancia.	Finally, Mr. Chairman, distinguished permanent representatives, Mr. Secretary General, ladies and gentlemen, as Assistant Secretary General of this important hemispheric body, I will work to strengthen the Organization, improve its institutional and political functions, and promote greater efficiency and relevance.
