El/la Oficial de Audiencia y el Equipo IEP/504 colaborará para determinar las consecuencias apropiadas de la infracción.	The Hearing Officer and the IEP/504 Team shall collaborate to determine the appropriate consequences for the offense.
Los padres y los estudiantes se reunirán con el/la Oficial de Asistencia y el/la Oficial de Corte.	The parent and student will meet with the attendance officer and a court official.
Durante la audiencia, el/la Oficial de Audiencia debe darle al/a estudiante la oportunidad de admitir o negar uno o todos los cargos.	At the hearing, the hearing officer shall give the student an opportunity to admit or deny the charge or charges.
Si hay circunstancias atenuantes o mitigantes, el/la Oficial de Audiencia deberá documentarlas y decidir la apropiada acción disciplinaria a tomar.	If extenuating or mitigating circumstances exist, the hearing officer shall document the extenuating or mitigating circumstances and decide the appropriate disciplinary action to be taken.
Si, por otra parte, hay circunstancias mitigantes o extenuantes, el/la Oficial de Audiencia debe nombrar esas circunstancias por separado y puede tomarlas en consideración al decidir la acción disciplinaria más apropiada.	If, however, there are mitigating or extenuating circumstances, the Hearing Officer shall separately state those circumstances and may consider them in deciding appropriate disciplinary action.
El/la Oficial de Asistencia repasará el Reglamento de Asistencia del sistema; El/la Oficial de Corte repasará las Leyes de Asistencia del Estado de Alabama y las consecuencias al romper la ley.	The attendance officer will review the system's Attendance Policy; the Court Official will review the State of Alabama's Attendance Laws and consequences of breaking the laws.
